Oily Cart Theatre Company are coming to our festival!

We are delighted that Oily Cart Theatre Company will be leading a sensory storytelling workshop at the Accessible Book and Story Festival.

A scene from the Oily Cart Show When the World Turns showing people in the audience interacting with props. Two women with babies are sharing tangerines with them. The tangerines seem to be part of the show. They are surrounded by wooden boxes and foliage.

Oily Cart were founded forty years ago and are renowned pioneers of sensory theatre. They create highly crafted, interactive, multisensory theatre that tours across the UK and internationally. Their performances integrate sounds, smells, touch, light and shadow, close-up choreography, live music and kinaesthetic movement.
