Each card costs £10 and we will use this money to gift a book for a child with additional needs to a family or school.
Children with additional needs can enjoy a good story just like their peers but they need books which have been designed with their needs in mind. (e.g. They may needs books with high contrast images, or with pages that are easier to turn…)
There is a charming illustration specially commissioned by the artist Kate Leiper on the front of the card. Inside is the message: ‘A special book for children who have additional needs will be gifted to a school or family on your behalf’ as well as the greeting ‘Happy Christmas’ and an explanation of how the gift will be used. There is also space for a personal message.
You can keep the card or send it on as a gift for someone else.
